Property tax rates will not be increasing in Haines City during the 2021-22 fiscal year.

At the July 15 City Commission, commissioners voted 4-0 to set a tentative millage rate of 7.589 for the 2021 to 2021 fiscal year. This is the same millage rate as the current rate.

Commissioners also set public hearing dates to approve the 2021-22 fiscal budget. They'll take place during the regularly scheduled City Commission meetings on Sept. 2 and Sept. 16 at 620 E. Main St.
