    Mayor Morris West cordially invites you to participate in the Mayor’s 5K, benefiting Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society on Saturday, October 19th, 2019. The race will start at 7:15AM at Lake Eva Park and the cost is $25 per runner. All runners will receive a shirt. For guaranteed sizes, please register by October 1. First place finisher and women's and men's categories will receive a trophy.     Haines City is proud to present this year's edition of Touch-a-Truck: Trunk or Treat. This year's event will take place at Lake Eva Park. Touch-a-Truck is a family event for kids to explore all types of vehicles! We will have police cars, emergency vehicles, trucks, farm & construction equipment, tow trucks, and more! We will also have food trucks, bounce houses & crafts! This year's event will be Halloween themed and we encourage you to wear your most spooktacular costume! Bring your carved pumpkins for a chance to win the pumpkin carving contest(pumpkins to be carved at home).
